Christine Megorden, M.Ed

Executive Director

Christine Megorden has been working with nonprofits for over ten years. At Pepperdine University, Christine served as an Executive Board member of the Pepperdine Volunteer Center, as well as Program Director for the University’s America Reads and Project Serve programs. Christine was awarded the 2012 Helen Pepperdine Award for Service in recognition of her leadership & contributions to Pepperdine’s service driven community. Christine received her Master’s in Education & Social Justice from the University of California, Los Angeles, and worked for four years advocating for change in our urban education system as a fifth grade teacher and school leadership team member in Watts, Los Angeles. Desiring a change from a classroom setting and return to her roots in the nonprofit sector, Christine left teaching to serve as the Executive Director of We Support Classrooms, and is now excited to serve as Executive Director of the Nonprofit Resource Center. When not working with nonprofits, Christine enjoys cooking for family & friends, burying her nose in a new book, and exploring the California coastline with her husband Jack, sons Wes & Jay, and bloodhound Lucy.
